Dr. Tristan Hensley


Tristan was born and raised in Melbourne, Florida and is a second generation native Floridian. He attended the University of Florida and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Nutritional Science and also received a minor in Bassoon Music Performance. Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Hensley became a double Gator and graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine.

During dental school Dr. Hensley was very involved with founding a teaching assistant and tutoring program where he would teach and help underclassmen study all aspects of dentistry. He was also an active member of the American Student Dental Association that would host social and professional events for dental students and alumni.

Post dental school, Tristan moved to the Tampa Bay area where he has been practicing since 2014. He has continued in the field of teaching and is currently a part time clinical faculty member at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM). He remains active in the Seattle Dental Study Club, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Outside of the dental office, he participates as a bassoonist with the Florida Wind Band, Tampa Bay Symphonic Winds, and the South Shore Symphony Orchestra. He enjoys running and spending time with friends and family.
